Then we can get some coordinated efforts together on the councils from there ....I hope
I agree! I’ve been spending time on emails to senators and others re the MAD bill. I haven’t got onto the under-16s and consequently, compulsory ID, yet. I have plenty to do in life, but these onslaughts on our freedoms seem not to stop! Life does not slow down as I age - it’s good to be engaged, of course, but extended family becomes larger as we age, and I’d rather not be overwhelmed by political necessities. But there’s no way around it. If we want freedom for our country and for our children and grandchildren, we need to speak up. I know quite a few people my age (early 70s,) and many are older, who came from eastern Europe and lived under Communism. They know what it’s like and shake their heads over what is occurring here.

We have a new councillor elected to the Tootgarook Ward, Victoria, (Mornington Peninsula,) who told me in a phone call before election that he was open to residents bringing up this issue to council, following the Port Hedland initiative, and the publication of “The Victorian public health and wellbeing plan 2023-2027” So now we, the residents, will need to attend a council meeting and ask for this issue to be addressed.
Good luck with getting a deputation. If they record let as many people know as you can, so if many people join the live stream they know people are taking notice. 💪
Thanks for the encouragement and the great idea of live-streaming. I’ll look into that and ask around to see who will attend the next council election.
